RER LIGNE C

The RER C's main railway line stops near many monuments, from Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral to Versailles, including the Louvre, the Tuileries, the Concorde, the Musée d'Orsay, the Invalides and the Eiffel Tower. It serves the stations of Versailles-Chantiers (direction Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines) and Versailles-Château-Rive gauche (terminus) every day. However, be careful when travelling from Paris, the Versailles-Chantiers and Château de Versailles stops are located on different routes, with journey times that can be as long as twice as long. It then takes about 10 minutes to walk to the Versailles Château-Rives Gauche and 18 minutes when leaving from the Versailles-Chantiers train station. Finally, it is recommended that you have two transport tickets (return ticket) from your departure station to Versailles station or a pass (Navigo, Mobilis or Paris Visite) including zones 1 to 4 if you are leaving Paris.
