ESPRIT D'ATELIER
Art lovers and lovers of a relaxed atmosphere meet on this very original corner of the table in Old Versailles. In 2008, Virginie Bommelaer created a unique place in the Saint-Louis district where artists, local shopkeepers and trendy young people meet. Here, one can learn to engrave, paint or draw, take part in a wine workshop, and enjoy simple and authentic cuisine. Today, Virginie has surrounded herself with Ina Clivia, who has taken over the reins of the rue du Vieux-Versailles, Clivia, in charge of the second bistro rue de la Paroisse, and Blanca, second in charge of the kitchen, and this unique concept remains more than alive! In the beautiful room on the ground floor, you can enjoy a "like at home" atmosphere with round tables or a sofa corner, to savour homemade dishes, depending on the market of the day. You can have lunch there, but also sit down to drink a tea (Kusmi) or a Macchiato, accompanied by one of the good homemade sweets: white cheese with barley milk, honey and grilled almonds, chocolate fondant, cheesecake with speculoos... And every day, we brown it. A warmly recommended place
