CONCERTS À L'OPÉRA ROYAL

Every year, the Versailles Opera House reserves a quality programme for you in a majestic site! Concerts, ballets, staged operas, operas in concert version, Holy Week in the Royal Chapel: let yourself be charmed by exceptional performances in this sumptuous place imagined by Louis XIV, but which was only built at the end of the reign of Louis XV. To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Royal Opera, the ADOR Gala will honour two rising stars of the lyric scene, the countertenors Bruno de Sá and Aryeh Nussbaum Cohen, in Pergolesi's poignant Stabat Mater. The concert in the Royal Chapel will be preceded by a cocktail reception on the stage of the Royal Opera House, followed by a walk through the Grand Apartments and the Hall of Mirrors, before the grand supper in the majestic Battle Gallery. This will be on Sunday 19 April 2020.
