More than 25,000 sportsmen and women set off each year for the Paris-Versailles race called the Grande Classique. A 16.2 km timed race course linking the Eiffel Tower to the Palace of Versailles. The race is open to licensed and unlicensed runners) from 18 years old. The finish will be judged in Versailles on the Avenue de Paris. For the most courageous, the Paris-Versailles is the final stage before the half-marathon - and the number of races in the Ile-de-France region is particularly high. The race is known for its famous "côte des Gardes" in Meudon: it is only two kilometres long, but you can feel it going by! Go to the website to see the route of the race and fill in the registration forms! The only major unknown is the weather: at this time of year, you can ride (more or less quickly) under a radiant sun or fresh water. You've been warned!
