To enliven the gardens of Le Nôtre, Louis XIV, a great aesthete, built gigantic fountains evoking Greek mythology. In 1715, at the end of the colossal work, the Sun King brought forth the great waters, to show everyone the hydraulic apogee! Every year in summer and at nightfall, let yourself be carried away by a royal and natural spectacle over 8 km between the chariot of Apollo, the gods and goddesses; illuminated waters, gushing under the baroque music of Lully, Rameau or Charpentier, fill the spectators with wonder!

magique
Un spectacle rare et exceptionnel. On déambule dans le parc pour découvrir des surprises de chaque coté : Feu, laser,… c’est magique Le feu d’artifice est très traditionnel comme aurait pu le voir Louis XIV. A voir absolument.

The best time to visit the castles. The music and fountains go away adds charm to the gardens. It is best to go out at the beginning of autumn when the light is softer when there are fewer people
The fountains moving are superb, but those who are looking for peace and serenity with classic duo fountain- music are likely to be disappointed: much too many people and a duration of the festivities too short (2 hours) can enjoy all without having mall at the foot at the end of the day.
