FOOTBALL CLUB VERSAILLES 78

The club was born in 1989 from the merger of the Compagnons Sportifs Versaillais and the Racing Club Versaillais. After many financial setbacks, the club is still going strong - this club of professionals and enthusiasts has a budget of 280,000 to 300,000 euros - supported by the municipality and encouraging results. The club is affiliated to the Fédération Française de Football, the Ligue de Paris-Ile-de-France and the District des Yvelines. FC Versailles 78 is a training club, which means it has an FFF-certified soccer school. Here, anyone can play, from beginners to old hands, and receive the necessary training, supervised by professionals (a technical director and qualified educators). Those whose game meets with success and who want to continue along this path will pursue their passion in the training centers of professional clubs. Every year, the club organizes soccer training courses during certain school vacations, as well as events such as the club fête and tournaments.
