CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE ET D’INDUSTRIE
The CCIV de Versailles is the second chamber of commerce and industry in France. It was created on 22 November 1899 by decree of the President of the Republic, Emile Loubet. His offices sit in a magnificent pavilion (dating back to 1751), which is no other than the former mansion of the Duchess of Barry, the mistress of King Louis XV. What is the CCIV for? It accompanies the economic development of yvelinoises and val-d'oisiennes enterprises; it is a public institution of the State under the responsibility of entrepreneurs, traders, industrialists and service providers. It offers services tailored to entrepreneurs who want to create, develop, transmit, export and innovate. CCIV, thanks to its strong and diversified skills, advises and assists creators, as well as traders or business executives. The former Jeanne du Barry hotel is also famous for its beautiful gardens!
