Redesigned in 2023, the History of the Château gallery offers visitors a fresh look at the history of the Château de Versailles and its successive developments, from the reign of Louis XIII to the rebirth of the château in the 19th century. More than a hundred works from the museum's collections, numerous reserves and recent acquisitions are on display, including busts and furniture. An exceptional artistic ensemble enhanced by a solid scenography and digital content.

Un émerveillement devant la richesse et la profusion des décors. Un endroit grandiose à apprécier si possible avec peu de monde. La visite guidée est très intéressante pour repérer tous les petits détails qui ne sautent pas aux yeux.
