VILLAGE CASTLE
Built in the 15th c., the château was rebuilt by the Viscount d'Osmond and its grounds were landscaped by a Parisian banker.
Built in the 15th century by Henri Perdrier, Château Brinon-Perdrier consisted of a 3-storey main building and outbuildings arranged in a square shape, opening onto the courtyard. After the French Revolution, Viscount Charles d'Osmond had it rebuilt in the early 19th century on the site of the former outbuildings. Parisian banker Jean Baptiste Paradis transformed the 8-hectare park by adding an English river, artificial grotto and waterfall. The First World War left intact only the left wing and the pediment of the central part, still visible today.
