15 minutes from Carcassonne, between Corbières and Minervois, a friendly and smiling couple welcomes you in a somewhat confusing restaurant: the Fool of the Village… A name not very reassuring giving more desire to escape than pushing the door, but fortunately curiosity prevailed over doubt. From the first contact, you will realise that the only fool in this hotel is hung at the facade… In the room or terrace, culinary specialities and wines from the Languedoc region are put to the honour. This is the time to taste traditional homemade cuisine and to discover the specialities of the corner such as the fréginat, typical of the villages of the Corbières massif, or the indispensable cassoulet of duck conflict, the bull gardianne… A shop will allow you to buy honey that the master of the places produces as well as homemade jams. Quelle belle découverte que ce super restaurant ! Tout a été parfait: l'accueil, les plats ( escargots à la catalane, moules gratinées, salade de gésiers, pluma ibérique .... et le dessert babas au rhum à tomber !). Ce restaurant devient notre nouveau resto préféré de la région .

Restaurant qui vous propose des plats de qualité à un prix très abordable. Mon camembert au four était excellent et cette terrasse extérieure sous les arbres c'est parfait. Le service est très bien je recommande ce restaurant.
