Restaurant with a shaded patio offering Aude dishes in the heart of the Cité.

If you enter the town through the Porte Narbonnaise, you can't go wrong: the restaurant is on the second street on the right. The chef offers ancestral cassoulet, the emblematic dish of the Aude region. You can enjoy it here simply, in a bistronomic or terroir formula, on the shady patio sheltered from the wind or inside the building. Mathieu, the owner, will give you a warm welcome and tell you all about his "house" and the legend of the local dish. In addition to cassoulet, you'll find other gourmet variations based on duck.

Ce restaurant est le lieu parfait pour les amateurs de cuisine traditionnelle, dont je fais partie ! La cadre est superbe, puisque La Maison du Cassoulet se trouve à l'intérieur de la Cité de Carcassonne. Les plats sont délicieux et à un prix raisonnable -même si un peu onéreux tout de même pour la formule "Gourmande"-. Accueil chaleux et service impec ! J'y retournerai !

Le cadre est magnifique dans la splendide cité de Carcassonne, le nom du restau est attractif, bref tout est réuni pour trouver un attrape touristes et pourtant...
Un bon accueil malgré la forte affluence, un cassoulet de bonne facture, et un rapport qualité/prix très honnête.

We summons region, we decide to discover restaurant and it shock it of the waitress without any kindness, an endless time however we have took that a cassoulet to go faster taste stays not to return am homemade I am on than fish to bread to freeze are more make house that cassoulet. After remind you that was waiting too long has the waitress a species of I know everything and go without sympathy to see which to perform, mr was unpleasant and believes to be right always no gesture commercial for waiting we will certainly not return has provided tourist trap
