It has been 4 years since Jean-Marc Philippe opened his brasserie and it has not aged! This epicurean who loves beautiful places made a dream come true when he opened this restaurant: offering Carcassonne residents and tourists passing through a chic and cosy place where you can eat good seasonal products at the right prices. Choose your table, Renard likes the small space on the right of the entrance and its true fake fireplace, and if you like, start with a perfectly made little cocktail. The menu is generous and changes with each season, you will find the musts of the house such as burgers with homemade chips, maxi-salads, flammekueches, a good alternative to endless pizzas and we enjoy it! On the menu, there are also grilled fish and beautiful pieces of meat such as the beef rib of 500 g with salt flower. Special mentions for the gourmet avocado and for the salmon or beef carpaccios. Sitting on the comfortable benches or on the terrace, you will have a good time. Once a month, small Jazz or blues groups come to liven up this moment, a soft and relaxing atmosphere guaranteed.
