Restaurant on the Place Carnot offering breakfast and homemade food.
The Bastid café has just opened its doors in the heart of the city centre, on Carnot Square. We appreciate the modern and design decoration, the small room at the bottom of the restaurant for an intimate and cosy atmosphere, and the terrace to enjoy the animation of Carnot Square. As soon as you open, you enjoy having breakfast with a bacon omelette, it's good and it makes you want to reserve your table for lunch. Home cooking is offered, from the 250g of the Izard butchery and its vegetable gratin, to cooked dishes like the fillet of cod with virgin sauce and fried fries, everything is good and well prepared. In the afternoon, Fabien will offer you pancakes to accompany your tea or drink unless you enjoy a gourmet coffee - really gourmand! - accompanied by an assortment of pastries. A nice address from morning to evening where the reception does not demerit.

Un verdadero timo. 1 cerveza a 8 euros. Vetado

My experience at the Le Bastid restaurant was beyond disappointing. I walked in with the intention of placing a to-go order, only to be told I had to be seated. I complied and took a seat. However, after waiting for a mere 10 minutes, an employee – a woman wearing a black top and red pants – informed me that the kitchen was already closed. What's baffling is that I was seated right next to two gentlemen who managed to place their orders just ten minutes after she told me.
This restaurant not only offers the poorest quality of customer service but also reflects badly on the reputation of the French people. I strongly advise against visiting this place. Instead, head next door to L'ENDROIT for exceptional food and outstanding customer service.

Pizzas muy buenas, las hamburguesas no gustaron tanto.

Very busy place, but manages to keep the quality of food high. Excellent pizzas, and the profiteroles were good too.
