BRASSERIE CAFÉ LUCIEN
Restaurant with terraces and a garden in the medieval city offering local cuisine and burgers.
At the end of May 2016, Bruno Di Meglio took over this address located at Cité Médiévale. It is a vast restaurant that has two shaded terraces and a garden with a view of the beautiful Tour du Tréseau of the medieval city. In addition, the place has an air-conditioned room for groups which can accommodate up to 60 people. The menus offered are hearty and the dishes are carefully presented. Bruno offers a cuisine with local accents with recipes such as the duck leg confit, the whole duck breast, or the unmissable cassoulet. But you can also choose the fish of the day or the burger with cow tomme accompanied by homemade chips. Let us underline the effort to offer only fresh and seasonal ingredients. To end on a sweet note, Petit Futé fell for the creamy chocolate fondant... Bruno organises musical evenings with DJ or concert, a subject that he perfectly masters since he has programmed some for a few years in his other Limoux address: Le Café du Commerce, and we can say that the atmosphere is good there! This year, Café Lucien did works: a bay window was open in the first room and the terraces were fully refitted for the guests' greater comfort, which makes the place even more pleasant. You will have understood it, the address is worth visiting!
