Brasserie with a terrace offering a house specialty and breakfast.
This brasserie is a family affair. Every child and grandchild from the Bergèse-Cabrol family has a task because grandpapa was in charge of the band "Tonton a faim" which is celebrated here every year. Moreover, Café Felix has a wonderful view of all Carcassonne. The Place Carnot is busy throughout the year, even more on market days where you have to wait until noon or 1 pm so that the terrace will be set up again. It is a meeting spot with vivid discussions over varied dishes but also the must-eat bib, with or without shallots, and its homemade fries which became the "speciality of the house". Early in the morning, you need to hurry up to find your seat as at noon you may regret having a narrow lunch table. Chez Felix is nevertheless the ideal place to enjoy the early sun rays, while reading a local, national or English press but also watch and comment on rugby matches.

Went here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Ordered two black coffees, got lattes. They had fresh squeezed orange juice, but we when we ordered the waiter said they were all out, despite other tables ordering and getting fresh OJ. Got ham and cheese omelette, probably the worst I’ve had in my life. The salad was wet lettuce and bad dressing, that’s it. To top it off when I went into pay, what do you know. They are squeezing fresh orange juice!

The most disgusting toilets on earth. Still have the nasty smell in my nose. Coffee was good though..
