U-shaped grain market around Place Eggenfelden, with local produce and the flavours of the Aude region on display.

This former grain market was built in the mid-18th century around the Place Eggenfelden, once the town's pillory, where thieves were once exposed... Labelled "Commerce Engagé", the halles offer regional products, cheeses, butchers, fishmongers, poulterers, greengrocers and some delicatessens. A unique place to live, and an essential social link, regulars and holidaymakers alike gather to enjoy a drink on the neighbouring terraces, while savouring the delicacies brought back from the halles. A cheerful atmosphere punctuated by a variety of events!
