A must for locals and visitors alike, the Cassoulet Festival is one of the region's flagship events. It takes place every year on the last weekend in August in the town of Chaurienne, the world capital of cassoulet. Tens of thousands of people, dressed in blue and white, come to enjoy the famous local specialty in a festive and convivial atmosphere. Entertainment, free concerts and delicacies punctuate these five days of joy shared with family and friends. A unique moment not to be missed!
