RESTAURANT HOSTELLERIE DU GRAND DUC
Restaurant of a hostelry, elaborating a local and seasonal cooking with dishes with harmonious food and wine agreements
Housed in a superb 18th-century building, the Hostellerie du Grand Duc restaurant is a little gem of authenticity. Sandrine's cuisine is local and seasonal: we loved the low-cooked venison back and its autumn accompaniments. Jérémie, in charge of service, is not short of good advice, from the choice of dishes to food and wine pairings. L'Hostellerie also boasts modern, well-equipped rooms. The overall ambience feels like coming home. Worth a try!

pour un séjour de rêves !
visuellement,
gustativement,
chaleureusement,

An amazing hotel hidden in the forests and hills of France. The building is fascinating and the renovations to bring it to modern standards are sympathetic and excellent. Warm welcome, good quality wine served in the bar. The rooms are spacious and light, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The restaurant is a delight. Small menu because products are fresh, and delicious. My main meal fresh pike, beautifully cooked and presented 9.5/10 (only because I found 4 bones in the fish). Helen 9,5/10 (only because it could have used a little more sauce) lovely cooked veal more like steaks than escallope. In truth the meals are delicious and we would reccommend anyone to stay for at least one night just to sample the cooking of an exceptionnal chef. Prices for meals of this quality are very reasonable - menu gastronomique + cheese platter was only 49 euros!!
