Le Puits du trésor is aptly named: located in a brownfield site on the banks of the Orbiel, this gastronomic restaurant has its Michelin star thanks to the talent of its chef Jean-Marc Boyer. With its huge fireplace and its incredible view of the castles of Lastours, the restaurant offers a cuisine with a Mediterranean flavour and a strong sense of escape and authenticity. According to the chef's creations and the seasons that punctuate them, the dishes liberate the senses and the imagination and reveal the treasures of the local harvest and the culinary art.

Ravis de notre visite des châteaux de Lastours, nous avons décidé de terminer notre périple sur le site en déjeunant à l'auberge le diable aux thyms quoique sur mon ticket de caisse je lis le puits du trésor! par 34° au soleil, nous n'avions pas envie d'un plat chaud, nous avons donc demandé si nous pouvions prendre entrée(salade composée) et dessert; la serveuse a gentiment proposé de nous servir une salade composée plus fournie dans ce cas et le dessert! satisfaits, nous avons vite déchanté! la salade composée: salade verte, 3 morceaux de tomate, 5 rondelles de concombre à peine plus épaisses qu'une feuille à cigarette, 4 lamelles de fromage (je dis lamelles et non tranches ou morceaux) nous nous sommes regardés par dessus cette salade dite "améliorée" et avons osé réclamer par 2 fois le pain qui aurait dû accompagner notre salade; le bavarois à la framboise qui a suivi nous a fait frémir par sa quantité! Moi même, j'aurais eu honte de servir une quantité aussi infime dans l'assiette! et pourtant nous ne sommes pas grands mangeurs! et tout cela pour 18 euros!! cela fait cher la feuille de salade! Se faire arnaquer ainsi ! un manque de respect certain! Alors , l'étoile, je la décerne au cuisinier qui nous a servi un repas digne de ce nom, le soir
au camping où nous nous étions arrêtés 3 jours auparavant et qui pour 5,50E nous a concocté entr'autres une salade fraicheur à faire rougir le plus grand des chefs étoilés!

I very surprised with reading by the opinions below because I am a patrons auberge including gourmet restaurant, places that I recommend family and friends who return magic. I even had there meals birthday or Father's Day. In the 2 establishments, the service is pleasant and sympathetic, very good value for money and especially the dishes are delicious, always seasons (proof is that the chef changes the menu according to the products)... among the best souvenirs: foie gras smoked eel, fish with chanterelles, vegetable bacon and balls to fall!

How in such a superb setting dares to welcome visitors with a kitchen worthy of a canteen (trout resembled + quickly defrosted salmon end), with a smile rather helpful grimaces and a setting that recalls the job! Visit the tower and prefer the snack bar at the end of the village. You say " étoilé" ??

After a superb château, we wanted to us. Whether error! You mall are welcomed and you are good just pay aditionn. Avoid, there is much more pleasant in the region, even without Michelin star! You will be greeted even better in small lower bakery, and cakes are better!
