Restaurant with a terrace offering seafood, meats, and dishes with a good quality-price ratio.
Bistro atmosphere and suggestion on slate for this restaurant in Lézignan. It is located on a quiet square: Place Jacques Ouradou (called "Place de la Fontaine" by the local people). On the terrace to enjoy fine weather or in the dining room with neat decoration, you will be properly installed to enjoy your meal. Philippe, the owner, is a lover of quality ingredients; thus, the seafood products are honoured and the grilled fresh fish create unanimity. We liked the Sarabande board consisting of 6 oysters (deep-sea), squid and razor clams that are griddled, all enhanced with homemade aioli and accompanied by green salad. Meat lovers can be reassured, the Mixed Grill board (beef, duck breast, lamb and roasted marrow bones) and the skewer of beef Gargantua complete the menu. Each lunchtime, the chef offers three dishes that can be taken alone or as a package with a starter or a dessert. A friendly address with a good price/quality ratio as we like... The plus: you can freely park your car near the restaurant, and it is really practical in the heart of downtown.

Solid French bistro.

For me the baby chair missing was a huge minus… we had to take turns in holding our 14 mths boy.
The french fries that come in various menus are the cheapest frozen potatoes, for me it’s a quality sign…
In terms of atmosphère… the restaurant is in a cute ‘placette’, but dirty, with people listening to loud music and drinking, I didn’t feel safe for the children to play around. That is not the restaurant’s fault, I understand, maybe it’s better to book a table inside.
