Museum presenting an astonishing one hundred pianos, dating from 1790 to the present day. Concerts are scheduled from June to October.
Taking Pont Neuf from Place de la République, you will find this museum set in the Saint-Jacques chapel, next to the hospital. This exhibition, which is unique in France, consists of one hundred pianos, dating from 1790 up to the present day, with models from great French instrument makers like Pleyel, Erard, etc., models that are unique in the world and objects related to them. It also has an amazing collection of grand, upright, or square pianos, opening or with a reclining keyboard, made of wood or Plexiglas, with struck strings or pneumatic, etc. Concerts are organised from June to November in the new auditorium.
