Restaurant with terrace offering inventive dishes with fresh and quality products from the garden.

La Maison du Douanier is wonderfully located. The restaurant room is decorated with large bay windows and the terrace offers a superb view of the Gironde estuary. The decoration is contemporary in the spirit of a chic bistro. All around is a garden where vegetables and aromatic plants grow and are used in the dishes. The chef only likes fresh, quality products and he works them in an inventive way. La Maison also offers bright, tastefully furnished guest rooms, which generate calm and serenity.

Nous venons tous les ans dans le médoc et nous avons nos habitudes au restaurant du St Julien. Nous avons cette année souhaite faire une exception .. et ce sera la seule. Les serveurs sont agréables mais les plats décevants pour le prix. Ils ont le cadre, fort heureusement.
