The vineyard in Narbonnaise is omnipresent. It is part of one of the largest vineyards in the world, Languedoc. Wherever you look, from north to south, from east to west, the landscape of green vines is drawn, majestic and proud, the hand of man in waterfall. From one soil to another, the vineyards are surrounded by the Mediterranean sun which nourishes them and the wind that gives them this expressive character. Mourvèdre, macabeu, grenache, syrah, carignan, bourboulenc… are all the most poetic names of each other, they invite to the dream and the guerrilla journey. Narbonnaise is home to five millennia: Corbières, Clape, Fitou, Minervois and IGP Coteaux de Narbonne. No wonder she was the first destination in Languedoc to be awarded the "Vignobles and Discoveries" label, a brand of excellence awarded by the ministries of tourism and agriculture. And to encroach on the art of living here, celebrate what makes the identity of the territory, we give up the sundays 1 and 15 May. 8 th edition of the "5 Senses" in Peyriac de Mer: in May 2019

«Vine and wine are great mysteries, only in the vegetable kingdom, the vine makes us intelligible what is true flavor of the earth». In these few words, the novelist Colette referred to the impenetrable paths of the vine. While it is true that we cannot define this alchemy between earth and man, we can nevertheless taste fruit. It is this initiation of all the senses, in May, that is proposed in Peyriac de Mer, a lagoon village and picturesque as we love them, posed in the middle of the Sall saltwater. The ambassadors of this land, the winemakers, old as younger, know how to convey with faith an authentic heritage, they are the link between history and the future. Through a 7-stop course, you can sit in the middle of nature to taste dishes and wines with exquisite flavors. Refined preparations accompany the best wines of the land, staged by Peyriac de Mer winemakers, Bages and Caterer Patrick Nigues. We're walking away from one point to another, within a framework of preserved nature, where the animators of the Regional Natural Park are happy to reveal everything about flora and fauna. " The greedy trails in Clape Vigneronne ": all senses on the 3 rd Sunday of May

On the 3 rd Sunday of May, the AOC wines of La Clape are honored, on the occasion of these Trails Gourmands, organized by the wine growers' union of the Clape. The principle is the same: We walk among the vineyards in the heart of the massif de la Clape on a 6 km journey. The departure is on a vineyard, not far from Narbonne. The Clape is a massive 200 m high. One trip alone. Formerly surrounded by the waters, this ancient island dominates the coastline, in the heart of a grandiose nature which encircles hectares of vineyards. La Clape is an invitation to taste light… but also winds. For here the Cers or Tramontane tempered the hostility of the limestone and the crushing sun to ensure that the grapes were picked at optimal maturity. And not without reason: This land gives sumptuous red wines of garrigues, curry flavors, black cherry, licking notes or spice bread. According to Greek mythology, white wines, from the bourboulenc grape (called also Malvoisie), elegant and fruity, made wise those who drink.

So for those who would be tempted by the discovery of all these nuggets, only one deposit: Book fast. The places are limited. On D Day, you will be given a nice straw hat, a cover containing covers, a tasting glass, a notebook and a pencil to immortalize each of your oenological impressions. The gourmet stops are orchestrated by Chef Marc Schwall of the «Cooks Cavists», a semi-gastronomic restaurant located in Narbonne, accompanied by the winemakers of the appellation AOC La Clape.
