An address with a terrace offering simple cuisine, meats, and tapas in the evening.
It is true that the building looks like a Spanish hacienda, but what is most surprising is to find this type of place in the commercial area; a crazy challenge and total change of scenery! Once you march past the threshold, you will cross a small courtyard which, on sunny days, serves as a terrace. Once inside, you can pass by the bar for a drink before you sit in the room with some paintings evoking the bullfight or on the covered and heated terrace, popular with smokers. The cuisine is simple, you can choose the daily special or one of the menus at lunchtime, with salads, meat or grilled fish à la plancha. The evening tapas are essential: razor shell à la plancha, pan con tomate, patatas bravas, tortillas, steaky supions, manchego... the classics of the neighbouring Iberians. Some summer evenings are likely to be animated, concerts are offered as well as themed parties. A smart address that has proven to be a place of conviviality on the road to Spain.
