The Canal de la Robine is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with one of the few bridges in Narbonne.
The emblem of Narbonne, the Canal de la Robine, links the Canal du Midi to the Mediterranean. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its furrow gives the city its identity and divides it into two districts: the "Bourg" to the south and the "Cité" to the north. Today, this 32 km-long waterway entrance is a rallying point for onlookers and tourists who wish to experience the city in a different way. The Pont des Marchands, which spans the Robine, one of the few bridges built in France, is currently being restored!
