This tourist office was one of France's very first "syndicats d'initiative".

The tourist office of the Aude Pyrenees is located in André Tricoire Square. Created in 1906, it is one of the very first tourist offices in France. Installed in the former shower baths of the city, built in a Moorish Art Deco style, the tourism office won the departmental prize of the Heritage Ribbons for the rehabilitation of this old building. In the centre of the country of the High Valley of the Aude, it invites you to discover all its wealth.

Je n'ai pas fréquenté leur bureau mais par le biais de leur site internet très bien conçu, on m'a envoyé GRATUITEMENT (chose tellement rare qui est important de souligner) les cartes et flyers me permettant ainsi de préparer toutes mes sorties et activités en amont. I visited whilst a very good art exhibition by the renowned local artist, Vanilla Beer was taking place.
