EGLISE SAINT-ARBOGAST
Church built on an old church dating from the century, partially classified as a historical monument
The Saint-Arbogast church of Herrlisheim was built in 1965. It is built on a former church dating from the 18th century, partially classified as a historical monument in 1932 and severely damaged during the Second World War. In complete break with the traditional religious architecture, it is triangular. The main materials used are concrete, wood and Rhine pebbles. The walls of the nave have a very large space for stained glass windows and the bell tower is distinct from the main building and its height is remarkable.
