ST. POLYCARP CHURCH
Church of the 11th century which was part of an abbey, the old fortified church Notre-Dame, and the vestiges of the abbey to visit.
The present church, dating from the 11th century, was once part of an abbey whose buildings still give a special expression to this village. Founded in the 9th century and dedicated to the Virgin Mary, this fortified church was an important centre of Jansenism at the beginning of the 18th century.
Worth seeing: the old fortified abbey church of Notre-Dame, its silver reliquaries, its bell tower, its spiral staircase, as well as the remains of the abbey and the nearby aqueduct, built by the monks, of which about 80 metres are well preserved.
