Restaurant near the Canal du Midi offering delicious Moroccan cuisine.
Located a few steps from the Canal du Midi, in the historic centre of Trèbes, welcome to L'Arganier, the journey begins as soon as you pass through the gate. The bright and shimmering colours of the walls, the ethnic decoration immediately invite you to travel, to let go. The discovery of Moroccan culinary flavours begins, boarding is imminent, a complete change of scenery. This restaurant opened in 2012 is the small paradise of Myriam Riad, owner of the place, passionate about the gastronomy of her country and eager to share it with many people. The tastes, spices and gustatory magic of these classic Moroccan cuisine classics no longer hold any secrets for her, since she already owned a restaurant in the city of Fez, before her arrival in the Aude. In her kitchen, she continues to delight our appetite with her couscous available in 4 variants, including one vegetarian, her 5 different tagines, as well as her pastillas and briwattes with chicken and fish, not to mention a choice of refreshing Mediterranean salads during the summer season. Argan oil, an essential Moorish element with a nutty flavour, is used in the composition of dishes, such as lamb tagine with prunes and dried apricots, a real treat! To finish the meal, you can choose one of the fresh fruit salads such as orange salad with cinnamon flavour, or enjoy a choice of oriental pastries, each one more delicious than the next.
