LE RELAIS ROMAIN
Restaurant with terrace offering traditional cuisine, meat, and fish specialties.
You must have certainly walked past this restaurant without even seeing it, although it is true that we are far from the beautiful stone buildings with a very extraordinary character that sometimes appear to be a simple "tourist trap." In the restaurant, Ghislaine, Jean, and their daughter Delphine will offer you the most essential: generosity, friendliness, and authenticity. Ghislaine cooks every day as if she has to receive some friends. Her cuisine is traditional and is prepared using high-quality produce. On the menu, you will find hearty salads like the "gourmet", homemade half-cooked foie gras, lovely grilled steaks, and fish specialties such as monkfish with prawns and scallops or salmon cooked with plancha and sauce dill, and all of these served with wines from local producers. At the opening of the Canal du Midi (mid-March), you will share the terrace in the shade of the big weeping willow with passing tourists and regulars.
