MAS DES VOLQUES - LE COLOMBIER
It is in 2010 that the Mas des Volques is born. Although it has been a family vineyard for four generations, it was previously destined for a cooperative winery. Nicolas Souchon broke with family habits and then decided, with the help and advice of Philippe Cambie, a renowned oenologist from the Rhone Valley, to create the Mas des Volques with the oldest and most beautiful plots of this vineyard. The estate takes its name from the remains of a small Gallic village, the Volques Arécomiques, discovered in the middle of the vineyards. Over a dozen hectares, the young winegrower produces AOP Duché d'Uzès and IGP Cévennes wines using a biodynamic approach.
