PAPA RÔTI
It is a talented duo that settled in front of the Aigues-Mortes canal in 2016. Indeed, two years ago Jérôme and his partner decided to invest in the docks and create a place that reflects their image. Madame - an artist at heart - took care of the makeover of the address while Monsieur took on the creation of the kitchen, an end-to-end success! The setting is tremendously warm and bright, the large verandah and the small tables set directly on the gravel set the tone, and here you are welcomed as if you were at home, with a smile and the necessary explanations. In the kitchen, Jérôme and his colleague Stéphane concoct pretty Mediterranean-inspired dishes that change daily. Everything here is homemade and it shows! The headings of the day: octopus salad in Tunisian style, hot oyster gratinade with six flavours, Aubrac meat, squid stuffed with red wine and - one of the house's treasures - roasted suckling pig. In summer, the house adapts and prefers to prepare light dishes such as fruit soups, pies and other delicacies. You will be happy to know that the address also prepares to take away and that catering is available from Wednesday to Sunday.
