CAPUCHIN CHAPEL
Chapel of the Capuchins renovated in Aigues-Mortes, becoming a beautiful place of artistic expression with contemporary tendencies
Completed in 1677, the Capuchin Chapel has had an eclectic destiny since the Revolution (dispersion of the religious Orders). Like many other establishments of its kind in France, it was transformed in turn into a warehouse, a fish market and a covered market. Renovated in 2017, it is now a beautiful place of artistic expression with a contemporary trend at the heart of splendid volumes. Contemporary art, therefore, but also photography, sculpture, prints, some works even come from students of the Fine Arts of Nîmes.
