The Mine Témoin in Alès is a testament to mining, industrial and social activity, with 700 metres of excavated galleries

Take a real trip down a mine and discover the striking world of the "gueules noires". For centuries, coal mining has been the lifeblood of the town, and this heritage is a must-see in the region. On as très bien apprécié cette visite. Nous sommes revenus avec une lanterne de mineur.le jour de notre visite nous avons un super guide maîtrisant très bien le français et l histoire. Bravo.

J'ai été surprise par tout ce que j'ai appris lors de cette visite. Notre guide était drôle, passionné, passionnant. Nous n'avons pas vu passer l'heure en sa compagnie. Le métier de mineur n'était pas facile, mais vous en apprenez encore un peu plus sur leurs conditions de travail.
