Next to the Pagoda Fountain and the covered market, La Rock is a canteen in the middle of the day, a restaurant as they love them without chichi or claim, which satisfies the busy people, those who are lazy to prepare for eating or those who have already exploded their holiday budget. Here you find good and cheap, and feel like at home. Some will say that it's not a restaurant and they'll be right, because Rock is more than that, it's a local popular institution, as it still does. For the price you will be asked on the table to the good simple a salad bowl full of fresh green salad and its home dressing, whole bowl, sausages of the corner or a slice of leg of lamb, fries, not always house but good and grasses, a dessert or a piece of cheese. The staff were very friendly and helpful. So of course, you shouldn't expect to eat "gastronomic" at that price. But the whole remains very honest, with this vintage touch of Proust's Madeleine. Like these pot ice cream that seems straight away from school meals. But as you say, we don't ask a Renault 4 L to ride like a Jaguar. At this ridiculous price, we also have a right to the terrace! But hang up because the victim of his success never always!
