Spiritual stay for people and young volunteers in spiritual search
In 1970, the Cistercian nuns of the Abbey of Notre-Dame des Gardes, in Maine-et-Loire, bought a small property in Cabanoule to establish, in this high place of Huguenot Protestantism, a contemplative community which is also dedicated to welcoming people in spiritual search. They also receive young volunteers for a week, a month or more who wish to live the rhythm of monastic life by sharing the prayer and work of the sisters.
