Restaurant serving a beautiful tribute to the products of the region in Arpaillargues-et-Aureillac

This sumptuous seigneurial dwelling houses a table orchestrated by Victor dos Santos. The restaurant is called "Le Marie d'Agoult". Why? Because this is where Marie de Flavigny, Countess d'Agoult, muse of Franz Listz, the famous composer, pianist and conductor, lived. Fine goat cheese and mini vegetables tart, saddle of lamb in crepe, purple artichoke with chanterelles and its lamb juice with rosemary, contemporary tiramisu served with its coffee ice cream: a beautiful tribute to the products of the region put to music by a talented chef!

Charmant jardin, personnel très agréable. En revanche une carte avec des produits pas toujours de saison…ce n’est plus trop dans l’air du temps…ce serait vraiment bien de faire plus local et plus « raisonné ». Et dans ce cas, nous reviendrions avec plaisir!!

Le cadre est très joli : les tables sont posés dans un jardin paisible à l’ombre des larges parasols. La cuisine est correcte mais pas exceptionnelle. Il y a une vrai recherche de créativité mais les cuisson des poissons et des viandes sont à plus soigner pour monter la table d’un cran.

Cadre très agréable,personnel sympathique et discret, le poisson était délicieux,en revanche,un peu déçu par les tapas ,bons mais sans originalité,quant au wok,
Plat copieux un peu bourratif et sans saveur. Dommage, amateur de cuisine asiatique
Ce plat pourrait être délicieux avec des herbes et des épices appropriées.
Je reviendrai essayer d’autres plats.

Cadre magnifique. Les entrées étaient très bonnes mais nous avons été déçus par les plats (poissons et viandes trop cuits, frites annoncées comme « fraîches » en réalité surgelées).

J'ai séjourné l'espace d'un weekend dans ce château. Le restaurant propose une cuisine gastronomique de grande qualité. Le cadre est magnifique. Bref, ce fut que du bonheur. J'y retournerai volontiers.
