The 1900 Museum, housed in a former mill, displays objects that bear witness to life at the turn of the century
The 1900 Museum is housed in a former 18th-century mill. The 1,900m2 exhibition features 3,700 objects that bear witness to life at the turn of the century. Gaston Baron collected all these objects between 1850 and 1960: cars, horse-drawn carriages, motorcycles, trucks, oil mills, steam engines, farm machinery, fire department equipment, bicycles, old telephones... His son has taken up the torch. After a 1h30 visit, young and old alike can stroll along the platform of a reconstructed old railway station. Both fun and educational, it's a magical journey.
