L'ARDOISE
Franck, Nancy and Frané had several kilometres in their legs before opening this restaurant. They cross the globe from Pointe-à-Pitre to Brussels via Paris until the village of Aubais stops them: in 2004 they opened L'Ardoise. Not far from Sommières, access is in the heart of the village of Aubais, by a small staircase. A few steps, and you are ready to enchant you with many flavours. Here you can imagine sitting at a school table: The card is in fact a slate on which the dishes were written to white chalk, adding originality to the establishment. However, unlike the pupil who writes his additions to chalk, then who then erases them to the foam, does not erase the statements, nor leave slate! A nice setting, a refined and varied cuisine: we must admit that between a medallion of foie gras gras in cloth, a veil of salmon smoked in green tea and St. Jacques to the dressing of summer truffles, crisp aux to shrimps and butter in candied and basil lemons, or squid stuffed with the bull, the choice is difficult!
