Beaucaire boasts the Musée Auguste-Jacquet, which houses an immense collection of history and archaeology in 700 m² of exhibition space. The museum is housed in the royal fortress of Château de Beaucaire, residence of the Counts of Toulouse, and is accessed via magnificent listed gardens. Archeology, French history and above all regional history, rich in twists and turns, arts and popular traditions, from traces of prehistory to the 19thcentury , the artifacts highlight the singularity of the Rhodanian city.
