L'ANCIEN MONASTÈRE
From the ancient Cistercian Abbey, it truly remains a Romanesque ark. And perhaps one ounce of épicuriennes tendencies symbolized by the Old Monastery, a restaurant with flavours of the land but not only: very affordable prices for a place of potential if tourism, a careful and original cuisine that borrows from French traditions by modernising them (such as the faux at the Brie de Brie sauce), a welcoming place and a lovely terrace in summer. Sébastien Dautel takes us on tour to discover specialities from all over the world. The content of the map changes over the seasons, compared to what we remain, on the terrace in the shade of the sophoras, astonishing! On the side of the papilles, the yeguada bull is present, in the ceps or in carpaccio, the seafood base as well as the cod fillet in the infusion of green anise. Some specialties give water to the mouth, such as the boiled egg to the fatty liver chips or duck magret with roasted figs. Everything is served carefully and in an excessively polite manner. As a bonus, the channel that will allow you to digest all this during a good walk is just a few steps away.
