DOMAINE TERRE DES CHARDONS
In 1983, the Chardon family moved to the Domaine Sainte-Marie-des-Costières in order to practice mixed farming - vegetable, tree and olive growing - while respecting the soil and the environment. In 1987, under the aegis of Dominique Chardon, the father, a first step was taken and the estate switched to organic farming. Then in 1999, Jérôme, the son, with an engineering degree in his pocket and a passion for wine at the heart of it, embarked on a wine-growing adventure, choosing to diversify production and plant vines. In 2002, he directed the estate towards biodynamics (the estate is Demeter certified) and set out "in search of the terroir", i. e. the search for a more personal expression of the wines.
