ARTCADE
The cade is a small native juniper tree, whose very muscular bouquet is characteristic of the garrigues of the Gard. Long used as a perfume and in medicine - it was nicknamed the witch tree -, this plant is now being used in new ways with ArtCade. The company, which has been based in Bouillargues since 1992, transforms cadmium wood into scents and beauty products. ArtCade obtains its supplies from two loggers, authorized by the NFB, to guarantee a responsible cut of this wild shrub that is naturally renewed. The company offers simply polished wooden pebbles, whose fragrance cleanses cabinets and other drawers, while at the same time scaring away moths. Over the years, ArtCade has developed other products: cade powder lamps, incense figurines, burners and many home fragrances. In collaboration with French laboratories, the structure also offers cosmetics, including an absolutely enchanting shower shampoo.
