Old building in a haven of peace with a roof terrace overlooking the Cevennes
Helmut welcomes you in his guesthouse and around his table, for a gourmet and creative stop. He will welcome you with warmth and attention and will move you to one of the four rooms of this old building in the heart of a haven in a green setting, made of chestnuts and nettle trees, where pheasants, foxes and wild boars mingle. Nightingale's sing the day and at night, one watches for owls and bats. Passing under the long stone vault, you get to an inner courtyard, fresh and shaded, then the garden and the overflowing scrubland of fruit trees and natural pools, ideal for relaxation. From there, you can also get to the balcony, the oldest part of house and with rooftop terrace surrounded by wisteria, where the view of the Cévennes is breathtaking. The house also has a library, a living room with an antique fireplace, dining room and, of course, the kitchen, from where our hosts draft up inventive and original menu, including a breakfast worthy of the greatest restaurants and special menus for the "special occasions" as Valentine's day, Easter, Whit sunday, Christmas and the New Year's Eve. But Helmut has more than one trick up their sleeves as it also offers stays of relaxation in the company of William, the official masseur, and the romantic or gourmet stays.
