An Orthodox monastery in the Gard, connected to that of Simonos Petra on Mount Athos occupied by the Sisters of Solan. In a main building, restored with local stone, a space is reserved for the community life of these nuns of the Orthodox Church. Other rooms are dedicated to welcoming the public, as this Gard monastery, well hidden in the hollow of a wild valley, opens its doors to visitors. You will be able to walk around the estate and discover the cultivated fields (vines, fruit trees, vegetable garden) in the middle of a large Mediterranean forest.
