FÊTE DE LA SAINT-PIERRE ET DES PÊCHEURS
Go there and contact
For an entire weekend, the commune of Grau-du-Roi lives to the rhythm of tradition, particularly that which honours the memory of those who have disappeared at sea and the Patron Saint of fishermen, Saint-Pierre. On the programme: jousting tournament, balls, fireworks, abrivado, Camargue race in the arenas, but also a procession of fishermen carrying the statue of the saint, blessing of the fishing boats and solemn mass in the open air. But the highlight of this festival remains the exit of the trawlers which follow one another in the open sea to form a "round". The public is invited to board the boats for a total immersion.
