WELL – CSP PARIS FASHION GROUP
Well is a brand of lingerie, tights and knee-highs. The brand has obtained the "Origine France Garantie" certification for the majority of its pantyhose production, such as its flagship pantyhose Elastivoile Résistant. This certification implies that the knitting, dyeing, finishing and packaging stages are carried out in France.
History. It all began in 1927, with the "Bas de France" brand associated with the company of the same name, inheriting past productions on silk. In 1970, the Bugnon group bought the brand and relaunched it under the name "Well" on the French market. Textiles Well then increased from 4 million pairs produced in 1972 to 120 million in 1990. Innovation becomes the core of the brand's development. Today Textiles Well, renamed CSP Paris Fashion Group, belongs to the CSP International group, one of the European leaders in the tights and lingerie sectors. Well always relies on innovation to meet women's expectations. The Accord Parfait range offers optimal comfort, for example, thanks to a patented innovation: ultra-extensible fibres and a mesh specially designed to reduce pressure and follow curves without leaving a mark. With the Contact range of products, Well innovates on knee highs with microbeads inside the edge, which adhere by contact with the skin, allowing the knee highs to hold without tightening the leg.
The products. The Well brand offers a range of tights, knee-highs and lingerie to enhance the beauty of every woman's desires. About 90% of the pairs of tights and knee-highs are knitted in the Well workshops located in the commune of Le Vigan, in the Gard. 15 kilometres of yarn are needed to knit a pantyhose. The Well factory knits 770,000 kilometres of yarn every day, twenty times around the world
Employment. 266 employees.
The best part: the factory opens its doors to the public in summer with (free) guided tours. Information and registration at the Vigan tourist office
