18th century castle, presenting 3 themes, house of culture, media library and departmental resource center
This 18th-century residence has become a cultural center. The architect who designed it, Pierre Jacques de Faventines, on the orders of Louis XV, created a remarkable edifice. Listed as a Monument Historique since 2001, the château has been renovated by the Département and is now a meeting point for lovers of art, literature and music. The château is divided into three sections: a cultural center, a media library and a departmental resource center. Exhibitions are scheduled year-round and concerts are held in the garden.
