18th century castle, presenting 3 themes, house of culture, media library and departmental resource center
This 18th-century residence has become a small cultural center. Listed as a Historic Monument since 2001, it has been renovated by the Département and is now a meeting point for lovers of art, literature and music. The building is divided into three sections: a cultural center, a media library and a departmental resource center. Exhibitions are programmed year-round, and the architect who designed the château, Pierre Jacques de Faventines, on the orders of Louis XV, created a remarkable edifice. A must-see.
