This park is quite unique in France as it aims to promote astronomy and space through scientific, cultural and educational activities of quality. Installed in a park of three hectares of scrubland, a circuit of a length of one kilometer is proposed to the visitor allowing him to cross the solar system, to meet the wandering stars such as comets, to discover the constellations, the stars, the galaxies, etc. Other highlights include an HD planetarium with an 8m diameter dome, which allows visitors to familiarise themselves with the sky and celestial mechanics, while observation evenings are offered two Saturday evenings a month, with a lecture or film projection followed by an observation of the starry sky (depending on cloud cover). The atmosphere on site is often very warm and the public is delighted to see in detail the craters of the Moon or the rings of Saturn.
