Welcome to Mas Seren, in the heart of the Cevennes! Yes, the rhyme is deliberate, as Emmanuelle Schoch, the owner, will explain. This native of Lyon has been planting her six hectares here in Monoblet for ten years (tasting and sales are in Anduze). The estate is surrounded by scrubland and oak forests, bathed in sunlight and watched over by the stars (which give the estate its name: Seren means "star" in Welsh, and each wine is named after a star).
